Oct 09,  · This book made damsels and dragons part of my life. While working as an interpretive ranger at the Cape Cod National Seashore, Virginia Carpenter gave a lecture with the release of this book. Though I was aware of these magnificent critters, I really had not looked at them.

This book opened my eyes!/5(2). The following list is based on Virginia Carpenter's book entitled The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Cape Cod (published by the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in ) and subsequent field sightings.
